For context, I am in Honors Calculus A. I passed the AP exam for Calc AB, so the material is all review. I studied every practice problem and homework assignment and redid every question. When I got to the test, I flew through it and estimated that I got around a 90% after a few mistakes (I knew I had a few wrong). Most of it I didn’t even have to think about, I just flew straight through it.
I ended up getting a 66%.
Has this ever happened to any of you?
Oh yes, but the reverse has also happened to me. Life can be funny that way sometimes.
Next time make sure you take your time and double check your work.
Back in high school (in the 80s), I took the AP English Lang exam. I was sure I did great and was mortified to get a three. I majored in English anyway, and made the Dean’s List a couple of times. You will be fine.
In some classes, that 66% might be the highest grade and the top of the curve.
Update: Professor made a grading error. I scored a 96%
