I only recently found out about it and am looking to hear more about it from people who've taken part before. :)

Yeah, I’ve done it before. It’s a fun way to compete with other schools but there’s really no way to study for it. It’s just those random bits that you stumble along while doing something else. It’s hard if geography and literature aren’t your thing. That’s what my team missed a bunch of. The category that we scored highest in was useless trivia. :)

Thanks for replying, Swinter! :)

I really appreciate the tips. I haven’t taken part in Quiz Bowl or anything like this before so is there something I should study to get a good foundation in the sort of information I’ll need for these kind of competitions? It’s definately new to me but looks like it could be fun!

It’s really impossible to study for - but you can take previous years’ tests to get an idea of what they’re like! We have probably 50 people at the competition, and a separate freshman team!

Knowledge Masters is a lot of fun, though we aren’t that good anymore since our two best went to college. You really can’t study, but it is a fun EC.

Like me and a couple of people said, it’s impossible to study for. My team just used the practice discs. It’s exactly like the actual competition.
