HAhahaha..."those jesus vans" . . .lolol

So far I haven't had any wrecks/tickets or anything driving yet. Hopefully it can stay that way. I don't speed too much... I usually try to stay around 8 mph over the speed limit.

Is 8 just an arbitrary number you chose?

I'd feel soo bad if I hit an animal =(

If there's a dead animal on the road, I drive around it if possible.

I've had a lot of almost-accidents, so I'm pretty lucky. The last one was when someone made a left turn into my road, and was going the opposite direction by driving on the wrong lane, straight at me. I was going straight at him and I was about to act when he swerved back into the lane that he was supposed to be in. Ugh.

I don't understand why people like to go fast. It's really not that exciting. I've only gone up to 80 mph, but there's no thrill in speeding, really. My friend almost died in a car that was speeding two weeks ago.

Animals... I've driven over an animal (but not wheels over, more like vehicle over, it was in the middle, between the wheels), but I didn't kill it. The clever driver in front of me swerved to a different lane and when I saw it, it was too late. At least I didn't have to feel any bumps.

8 is lower than ten. Since I really don't want a ticket I thought staying under ten was probably safest. so I try to stay around 8.

speaking of driving fast? i have easily hit 100+ in 50 mph zone, but usually only between midnight and 5 am.

I drive around the dead animals too. I don't want blood and guts being spewed all over my car.

I've had two minor incidents, both while backing out of parking spaces. Once, My whole fender/front bumper/right headlinght was on the ground in the Wal-mart parking lot. I turned too early on my way put, and got caught on this Dodge Ram van that was parked waaay too close to me (on my side of the line). The other time, I backed into this guy. Yeah, totally my fault.

I have gotten one ticket, because the cops had an unofficial quota. I passed a stopped school bus (sign on its way in, lights not flashing, traffic moving).

Speeding? Not anymore. I have a semi-powerful car (pontiac), and speed used to creep up on me, but not no more.

I drive around them too!

I usually try to stay within 10 mph of the speed limit, but sometimes I'll speed up right before the little "humps" in the road. I love the really quick feeling of weightlessness, its like Disneyland but there's no line and its free (kinda) ;)

Almost, but not quite.

I can't speed anymore! I really can't drive anymore! My new car is a stick shift, and I can't drive it...

If I were ever caught speeding there goes my car...

yeah me too.... so just don't get caught.

I have the problem of being too slow on the road. My driver and my parents keep telling me to speed up. Then when I speed up, I go way too fast sometimes...

I wouldn't even try...I live near a court house..so :/

Sadly I don't drive yet. :(

I had a sorta-wreck on Tuesday. I was driving on a curvy road, that I know fairly well (it is a no-passing zone, btw), when a car decided to pass me. I was driving 75 in a 65, so he was really flying to pass me. Unfortunately, a combine was coming around the curve (there are a lot of them on the road around harvest time and they drive SLOOOOOW). Since I was in a pickup that sits higher, I saw him before the driver of the little sports car did. I hit my brakes and swerved onto the shoulder so the car could get over. When I did, I landed my truck in a ditch. Unfortunately, the driver of the car saw the combine too late and the front of his car clipped the edge of the combine header (those things are really wide), which sent him spinning into the ditch.

End of story, my truck was fine, I just had to put it in 4 wheel drive to get out of the ditch.
I stayed and gave the combine driver and the driver of the sports car my information since I was a witness, and gave it to the Sheriff's deputy too.
And that is all. But it sure scared the crap out of me.

i crashed my car the day before the AP US history exam, and it was technically my fault, although it could have been blamed either way. it was not exactly something i wanted on my mind before an AP exam, especially one as hard as history. not to mention my parents are crazy about anything that costs extra money.

i speed all the time. never gotten a ticket for it, but i got a ticket for the accident. i've had 6 parking tickets also, the first of which i got 2 days after my license.

i think i have issues....

My friend totaled his car driving to the APUSH exam..needless to say, he missed it and had to go to the retest (and pay for it). What a ****ty day.
