Have you had the pleasure/displeasure of meeting someone from CC at your college?

I honestly fear this happening because I seem like such a moron on here and I don't in real life.

Has anyone ever experienced this and what's it like? Are you friends with them now?

I wouldn’t mind meeting someone from CC. I did once purposefully, I hung out with a girl a few times and she seemed cool, but a friendship didn’t happen. I will refrain from saying anything more in case she reads this. lol.

Whenever I pop onto CC in public I wonder if someone will see it and say anything. lol. But it’s never happened!

Do you guys think a majority of college students check this site out?

Hell no, not even close. I wouldn’t be surprised if a majority of college students have never used a message board at all. I am considered to be a bit peculiar for my particular interest in them in my circle.

Normal people don’t spend countless hours of their lives on the Internet talking to people they’ve never met.

^Normal people are narrow minded. :stuck_out_tongue: Why limit my social circle to the people who go to my school!

But yeah, you’re right. lol.

Yes.

She was my next-door neighbor last quarter (and is living a floor down from me this quarter). I didn’t realize it was her until I took a look at her screen-name and realized it was blatantly based off her name.

… I’m incredibly slow at times.

I’ve met a few people from CC. There was actually one guy whose username was just his real name. I actually came across him on some facebook groups before seeing him in real life.

I didn’t know this was a dating service… I’m outta here!

I know someone at my school uses/used it, but I haven’t personally met them. There werent many posts pertaining to my school.

I’ve actually wound up bumping into a person or two on CC that I had met previously before. One of them I actually hung out with during visiting weekend at one school, and when he chose a different school, wound up being friends with some of my good friends from undergrad!

I’m actually ok friends with one of them, she lives on the floor above me. I know of one other one and I see her all the time but I do not have the nerve to say anything.

I hope I don’t. I say some pretty stupid **** on here

I don’t know of anyone who does. I know there are people in my area, but none of us have expressed interest in meeting the others.

There are a few kids I’ve met in real life on this site. I am in a club with one for instance.

I’m a member of another forum (which also happens to be mostly college students) where I’ve met number other members in real life as well.

Yeah, it happened like 2 weeks ago actually.

I was talking to this random kid in my social business class before lecture started and I was complaining to him about my calculus class and how I think I’m going to fail it. I was kind of talking his ear off but it was just one of those days. Evidentally what I said to him lined up with what I’ve said on here, and he asked where I’m from. I told him that I’m from North Dakota and he said “thought so.” Then he asked if I knew about this site and by then he’d figured me out and proceeded to shake my hand and introduce himself with his first name ** and ** his username. Funny thing was, I thought he was a girl based off his posts on here.

We talked for the rest of that class and we’ve walked past eachother a few times on campus and we just do the typical head nod or “sup bro” or whatever every time. Nothing really came of it.

I haven’t. I would find it funny though.

THERE IS A KID I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH ON HERE. It is so weird lol. Ps zchryevns I went to high school with you but I don’t think you know who I am ahaha

^^ LOL! ^^

I know two! Well like I don’t talk to them but by their username, I can tell who they are. I see them around campus and I want to talk to them, but find it a bit creepy…
haha
