"Have you met with an Amherst Representative..."? Help Please

Sorry to ask this question - it may be dumb.

If I went to the campus and took the info session and tour does that qualify as “meeting with an Amherst Rep”?

I’ll be worrying about this if I turn it in before asking so the faster the reply the better, haha! Not too much time left…

When my son applied last year I believe he mentioned his meeting with a coach in answer to that question, but, yeah, in the absence of any more specific contact I'd say you should mention having visited the campus, taken the tour, and attended the info session. It may not help, but I can't see how it hurts, and it shows you have invested some time and energy (and probably some $$) to know about the school, and that it's not a blind application just for the heck of it.

Very good suggestions rentof2. My D wrote the coach and the team. I would not have thought to mention taking the tour and visiting campus. OP, any chance you remember the exact date to add that as well?
