have you switched out of an AP class, and let Berkeley know? What did they say?

Basically, what is the process, and what was the response? easy or not?

They will probably say “Oh, no. I’m sorry, but we’re going to have to rescind your acceptance.”

Yeah, sure thanks. Can someone who has DONE it, respond to this? Thanks.

I didn’t switch out of a class, but I did talk to a person in the Comp Sci department who said there was no point in taking two of the AP tests I intended to take (Comp Sci A and Statistics) as they wouldn’t give me any thing except credits.

I then told admissions I wouldn’t take them and they said okay, just email us that you won’t be taking them, but we won’t rescind your acceptance.

I’m actually going to take them now, but I don’t think they’ll rescind your admission if you have a really good reason (switching out of the class may be a different story though).
