Haven't been contatacted for my interview yet?

I submitted my personal data sheet and paided my application fee.
Georgetown then emailed me the conformation and told me that the alumni association
would contact me but its been well over 2 months and nothing....
so i was wondering who i should contact?

im applying EA & im freaking out bc i didnt know if i needed an interview before Nov 1st
& their website doesnt specify...
any advice?

Interviewers don’t have to submit their write-up about the interview until around Nov. 20 so it’s ok if you don’t interview until after Nov. 1.

i was just contacted yesterday and my interview will be nov. 1.

i submitted my personal profile about two months before now.

okay thank you that clears up alot of my worries
hopefully someone contacts me soon

I got my alumni email within two weeks. Call their admissions office (call - don’t email) and ask for the contact information for your local Alumni Admissions Program Committee Chair. They can set you up with an interviewer. Hope this helps!!!

I was also not contacted via email like my affirmation email said. I was just starting to freak out today when my friend said she had had hers two weeks ago, but the phone rang an hour ago and the person who is in charge of arranging interviews in my area told was very understanding and apologetic when I explained that I hadn’t been notified yet. She gave me the contact info for my interviewer via phone and said she would look into the error. If you don’t get a follow-up call like I did within the next day, I would DEFINITELY call the office of admissions – mistakes ARE made, and you shouldn’t assume that you made an error.
That being said, I’m excited for my interview! I still love Georgetown, haha!

FWIW, I’m applying RD and just received contact info via email yesterday. Different alumni committees work at different paces… You still have time.

Dorkoa, I was wondering the same thing. I’m applying from Pittsburgh too, and I submitted my personal data form months ago. I always assumed that I would be contacted about interviews after they received the rest of my application, which I sent in this week. The admissions website says the following:

“Once your application is received, the Admissions Office will provide you with contact information for an alumni interviewer in your area. You are expected to make arrangements for that interview.”

On the timing of applications, the site says this:

“The first interview assignments each year are sent out to the local chairmen in early September. Students who send in their applications over the summer should expect to hear something about their interview by early October. Thereafter, interview assignments will be made regularly and students will typically receive the name of their interviewer within 2-4 weeks of receipt of their application. Those who have not heard anything after a month should attempt to contact their local chairman listed on their confirmation receipt or else call the admissions office at (202) 687-3600 to speak to an admissions officer.”

I hope that means that they will contact me after I submit Part II?

For those of you who have already been interviewed, did you submit Part II of the application prior to being contacted? Or did you get contacted immediately after submitting part one?

If anyone hears back from the admissions office, please post

So I called the admissions office today. I got put on hold like 4 times, but eventually, they gave me contact information for my regional AAP director. I think that interviews can be conducted after Nov. 1st and still apply to EA applications, but I would call the AdComms and get your rep’s contact info. We were supposed to have received an email by now if we sent in Part I.

aww jeeze i havent been contacted yet
i guess ill be calling the admissions office too
looks like pittsburgh alumni are slacking

Same here! No one has contacted me; however that may be because there are no alumni in my area. The same could apply to you, just check.

i called admissions and apparently something with my zipcode threw them off
but all now is good the interviewer emailed me
& ill be interviewed before the Nov 20th deadline
