I'm really nervous because I have not heard back from NYU, Chapman and USC yet!? I don't know why the process is taking so long since other kids at my school already know their decisions for these schools. Does this mean I am not in for sure?

I got an email from NYU today stating this…
"Below please find important dates to keep you informed on our admissions process. This information is being sent to ALL freshman applicants to New York University for Fall 2010.

April 1-2: Admissions decisions expected to arrive in applicant mailboxes.

April 9-11: Events on campus for accepted students. These events are by invitation only, and RSVP instructions will be sent only to accepted applicants.

April 17-18: Events off-campus in 13 cities across the US for accepted students. These events are by invitation only, and RSVP instructions will be sent only to accepted applicants.

May 1: Deadline to accept admission, if offered. Candidate Reply Forms and tuition deposits are due.

We hope this information is helpful to you. We will be in touch within the next few weeks with the decision on your application for admission.

Sincerely,

So for NYU at least your letter will arrive first week of april.
Just cause you haven’t heard back doesn’t mean you’re not in though, some schools just take longer to get back to you.

Chapman’s admissions (film - I’m assuming by the schools you listed?) have been coming out, but it’s rolling. I don’t think everyone has heard yet. I don’t know of many people at all on CC who have heard from Tisch or USC for regular admission. I think those are going to come at the VERY end of the month or April 1 or 2nd.

I heard from Chap in Feb. No word on USC.

if ya don’t mind, did you get in to any of them? im wondering if chapman might be choosier than usc in certain cases, too.
