I completed my FAFSA for all of my schools a while ago (haven’t added 2014 returns yet, only will be available in a week), and I had to edit it every once in a while to add colleges (I applied to over 10, and I have 2) left to add. None of my information is incorrect. The only issue is that an errors keep appearing:
"The amount you reported for your parents’ income tax is equal to or greater than the amount you reported for their adjusted gross income. Review Items 85 and 86 and make the necessary corrections by clicking ‘Make FAFSA Corrections’ on the ‘My FAFSA’ page.
The parents’ marital status you reported in Item 59 does not appear to agree with the parents’ tax return filing status reported in Item 82. If one of these items is incorrect, click ‘Make FAFSA Corrections’ on the ‘My FAFSA’ page to make the correction. If the information you reported is correct, make sure the income information reported in Items 85 through 89, 93, and 94 correctly reflects your parents’ 2014 income.
All of the information I’ve uploaded is correct, and I’ve spoken to a FAFSA rep, and they told me to just disregard these two errors, yet I still haven’t received a EFC, is it because I haven’t added my 2014 returns?
