Probably depends on how far you are from Haverford. If you’re on the West Coast, expect them Friday or next week. If you’re any closer, they should come by the end of the weak. People on the East coast won’t have to wait long I think
Trying to stay positive and everything, but you think they’re sending rejection letters today too?
@superedi actually i’m not positive about that. I thought all schools sent out rejection letters, but I just got an email from Smith saying they would not be sending letters to the people who did not get in. But then again they post decisions online and Haverford doesnt so idk if that makes a difference.
Haverford mails both rejection and acceptance letters
Since @collegesleuth227 told us that Haverford was preparing letters, they’ve actually sent them, according to their Instagram:

They sent it 4 hours ago. I wonder if USPS has picked them up yet (or was it too late?). I’m obsessing a bit too much.
@questsnow I saw that! I even liked the picture for good measure
So if i’m in MA, probably like, what, 4 days?
Assuming they used First Class Mail, here’s how long it should take:
https://ribbs.usps.gov/modernservicestandards/ssmaps/find_map.cfm
Select 190 on the drop-down list for the Haverford zip code and click the “Display Map” button on the right. Most people on the East Coast should get it within 2 business days (except Boston itself, which should get it in 3 days).
Yeah. I’m definitely obsessed.
I can’t figure out how to use that website. How long for Missouri??? St. Louis
Three days for anywhere in the continental US except for a few states right around Pennsylvania that should get it in 2.
I heard that they didn’t send it first class last year
@confin15: In that case, it’ll take another 7-10 days. -_-
Thanks
I really, really hope that they sent it first class this year because I can’t wait much longer.
I mean First Class is like the normal way you send anything. I’m pretty sure it’s the cheapest (even though the name suggests otherwise).
ETA: Never mind, apparently businesses can use an even cheaper option called “Standard Mail” which is what takes 7-10 days. But the price difference isn’t that huge, so I doubt they’ll use it.
Ok, so I’m super obsessed and I went to the post office website and pretended to mail the letter around 4 pm today from Haverford to my home and I found that it should arrive on Friday if they went with the cheap First Class option (which was the default). I live in California.
If they sent it a little later, it should arrive on Saturday
Lol what about for international students? Do we get notified by email perhaps?
@MOgus1997 I read the RD thread from last year and it looks like international students get an email.
Thanks confin C: Haven’t received anything yet but I’m sure it’ll come soon.
