For what it’s worth, the only thing that came in the mail today was a coupon for 20% off at Bed, Bath and Body Works (anyone want it?).
It takes 2 days to post something from Philly to DC, which leads me to believe that they were too late on Tuesday.

Perhaps the decisions are being delivered by some of those cute squirrels that you see on the Coop windows. The bad news is that squirrels are, by all accounts, not as good as carrier pigeons when it comes to mail delivery.

Got the letter today. Waitlisted. Disappointing news offset by notification today from our flagship state university that he’s been awarded a full 4- yr scholarship. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear from Haverford.

Thanks. Haverford is the top choice for my son. He has been declined by Swarthmore(EDII) and Middlebury. The news today really light up the whole family:-) Best wishes to everyone!
Thanks all for the kind comments. We’re thrilled with Maryland’s offer and he’s likely to take it. We haven’t yet seen merit offers from the other schools which accepted him but we’re pretty certain none can beat a full scholarship.

DS was waitlisted. Last year 831 students were offered a place on the waitlist, 368 accepted and 5 enrolled. DS has other good options and has not decided if he will take a place on the list, but time to move on.
