Can't say I really get the above two comments, but you should try posting the same thread on the Colby forum. I would be willing to bet you'd get some more helpful information, or atleast I would hope so. As far as Haverford and Colby go, I think they would be two completely different experiences. Haverford is noticeably smaller than the already small Colby and seems to be a lot more strictly academic and cut throat. In all fairness, I'm sure you have already looked at the USNEWS rankings and Haverford where Haverford is ranked 9 (if I remember correctly) schools higher. How important is that to you in your decision about where you will spend the next four years of your life? On the converse it should be noted that USNEWS rankings often times seem to dictate the number of applicants, and despite this Colby still annualy attracts more applicants. They both seem to attract different student body types and will both offer an excellent education so I would choose the place you see yourself best fitting in and enjoying yourself. <p>I would go to Colby. It has a much better reputation for almost everything. Have you visited? The Colby campus is so much better than haverford's. The student population is also much more diverse (as well as a bit larger) at Colby. Haverford is so small it almost seems claustrophobic.</p>
