i have a 2.93 GPA on a 4.0 scale
i took fairly challenging courses
my sats are horrible:
1rst time 1730: 630 M, 520 W, 580 V
2nd time 1720: 650 M, 540 W, 530 V

i was wondering if i have the grades for USP PHARMD, URI PHARMD, OR RUTGERS PHARMD...i was alson wondering if i can get in (UNDERGRAD)...
URI
RUTGERS
NJIT
UCONN

please respond honestly...

p.s. should i try taking the SAT's over

please...any responses...as u can see i'm desperate right now???

I don't know a lot about Pharm programs. But I think that Rutgers's is pretty good, right? Your GPA may push you out of qualifying for that.

can i make it into rutgers nb...undecided major

I really don't know what most of the schools you listed look for but I'll give you some advice that would help when you apply ANYWHERE.

You have to give your resume more pop! list and name every single award or activity you have partaken in during high school, as insignificant as it may be.
http://www.iit.edu/~srespad/interest.htm
^ here's a sample of a resume that really lists everything you need

i'm sorry but your gpa is dreadful and will probably hinder you more than anything else on your application. so work on building that resume! an really nail your essay :]
I hope this helps! and good luck!

well i do have a lot of other ec's...but how are my chances for the colleges listed above

well.. you really need to bring your GPA up i'd say.. and the SAT scores as well. I'd say GPA is the most important of all in your application (along with your essay, recommendations and SAT) so even if you have a lot of ECs, a low GPA is hard to get past.

if i bring my sat scores up to 1300 on the october test...would i have a chance for the above mentioned schools?

what state do you live in?

New Jersey resident part of a really good academic high school

do i have a shot at Rutgers or URI (not the pharm programs)

You should be able to get UCONN however I am unsure on which campus. I am not entirely sure if there is a separate pharm program, but UCONN is a great school.
