i am currently going to CC for a summer class (sociology). i am going to attend UCI in the fall. but for some reason the Community college thinks i am going again so they sent me a permit to register for the fall 2008 quarter even though i am not going. would UCI some how know about this and rescind my admission

kevinf, UCI really doesn't care. A lot of people take classes at Irvine Valley College while taking classes at UCI during the school year. The three CC's I've attended still continue to ask me to register for classes...haha.

so its safe to just ignore the registration if i am not going for fall right?

I'm not entirely sure what a permit to register is, but it doesn't matter. UCI won't even do anything if you enroll. You're fine. I would just ignore it.

just decline the permit to register or ignore it. i took summer classes at a CC and they sent me that too for the fall. just don't worry about it. you'll be fine.

but you do have to send your official CC transcript if you want the class to count towards your UCI credit.
