So I currently have an internship and I was wondering if this might help me or give me an advantage in the admissions process in some way?
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Many students do internships so it is not in and of itself unique. The extent that an internship will help you will depend on what you do and if you make the most of your opportunity.
Is this a real internship or a part time/summer job? For example, an aquatic safety specialist is a life guard no matter how you try to spin it.
Of course it will help! Especially if it corresponds with your other extracurriculars.
Will you be doing something that you are interested in and that will help you grow in a field that you are interested in pursuing? Many parents find their kids an “internship” working in an office. I’m not sure if there is a benefit working in the mail room if you want to study environmental science. What are your other options for the summer and what do you want to do?
