Having anything below a B for Kelley?

So I am a freshman this year, and not a direct admit. I am getting ready to apply to Kelley now. I got a C on my A100 midterm, so I will hopefully end up with a B+ or B given that I do well on the final...but worst case scenario...if I get a B- or C+ in the class, will it heavily affect my admission into Kelley?
I did well last semester (3.75) and I'm anticipating I'll do pretty well this semester too, it's just there's that chance of getting one B- in A100 or possibly E201. Do they just say that stuff to scare you or would you be okay because I know grades ARE the main factor.

Any personal stories...have any of you non-direct admits gotten in with grades below a B or know of people that have?

You are easily in with a 3.75 last semester, a B isn't going to kill you. Typically if you are above a 3.0 you are in.

My own son had a C+ in Tiller's class (A100), and a C in "The Computer in Business", but had As and Bs in every other class he took (many more As than Bs I should add--same as you), a strong set of ECs at Indiana and was admitted to Kelley.

I think the key is to be at least a B average in the 4 prelim courses and a 3.1+ or 3.2+ GPA overall with some extracurriculars in order to be admitted.

C in A100 doesn't hurt as long as everything else is fine.
