<p>So, I just noticed that on the application log-in page it says,
"Please note that you may only have one web browser window open at any given time. If you attempt to complete your application with multiple open browsers, it will cause problems with the submission of your application."</p>
<p>What does this mean, exactly?! I've always worked on my application with other windows open - does this mean you can't have the app open in several windows, or you can't have windows open in another web browser program, or what? Or does this only refer to when you're pressing submit?</p>
<p>It means that you can't have their system open in another browser window, because of the secure shell. Also, if you are applying to Stanford or colleges that use the same online application type, you cannot have both the Stanford application and Columbia Application open at the same time. It really is just stupid technical stuff, just make sure you do everything in one window, which shouldn't be that hard.</p>
