Having problems with registration at my college

I’m a sophomore transfer student this semester at my college. I’ve been having a lot of problems with academics/advising. I couldn’t get in touch with my advisor at all this semester to talk about registration and my course sequence- I emailed her a few times and she never emailed me back. Then I emailed the director of advising for my major about how I couldn’t get in touch with my advisor, she told me she couldn’t help me and told me to email the department chair. So I did. He told me that he couldn’t help me either and that I’d have to wait for my advisor to get in touch with me in order to register for classes. Obviously I’m not very hopeful about that happening. At this point registration has already opened up and all of the classes that I absolutely needed to take next semester are now closed or waitlisted. But I can’t even try to enroll in the waitlisted ones because I still have an academic advising hold on my account. I don’t know what else I can do or who else I can contact. Can anybody help me out?

We don’t know your college. I suggest you go over to advising office in person ASAP and see what is going on.

Nobody on this board can help you. You need to march yourself over to the advisor’s office tomorrow and either wait fto see him/her or make an appointment. Honestly you should have done this before registration started but do it ASAP.
