Having Second Thoughts?

^Agreed…we did it guys!
And it’s a good thing we applied when we did…I’m sure the admissions rates will just get lower, and lower, and lower…

@deerbri-I know right? When I look at the admisssion rate, I keep thinking, “Oh my God, they actually let ME in???”

@BronxKid-That may very well be graduation.

Well, the economy has a huge impact on admissions. We were applying, if I’m not mistaken, during an economic up-rise. A lot of people, then, were applying when we did. So getting in, I think, is a huge feat. I’m just glad I’m also going to one of the great schools our country offers us.

What’s the admission rate, guys?

Getting in IS a huge feat. Most schools were taking 10% or less of the applicant pool. At my D’s school she was one of only 160 students selected last year (one of only 50 sophomores if you narrow it down) - out of 1700 applications. Scary to think about the odds.

Congrats to those of you who beat them! The competition was stiff. Now go do something glorious with the opportunity! Explore everything, try new things, don’t take anything for granted! :)
