Having some depressing thoughts about life?

Izzy Busy Bee’s quote:As for karma…sometimes the bad guys win and the good guys lose. Personally…I don’t think I’m fit to judge who’s “bad” and who’s "good.

First of all, you clearly don’t understand karma. As you say, the “bad guys win and the good guys lose.” If you observe that this is true, it’s because of karma accumulated in past lives which influences circumstances in our current life. So regardless of how good one is, he still may have to face more hardship than people who are bad, for the current life. But it won’t bode well for the bad person in following lives. Also, define “win” and “lose.” in a material sense, one may “win” over another even though he is bad, but he doesn’t “win” at pursuing the ultimate goal of life. And also, of course you or no one else is fit to make a judgment of who is good or bad. karma is based on absolutley defined right and wrong manifestations of thought and action. What is wrong is anything that promotes, anger, jelousy, selfishness, ego, desires/attatchment (these are the main manifestations of negative actions).

Depressing thoughts about life?

Yea. Why do we get headaches? .__.

Or maybe your life is a video game being controlled by someone not on Earth.

The meaning of life is attending the Ivy League and making money.

^ As long as it isn’t Stanford or Cornell.

You know what, people are playing Sims 3 on Mars and WE (the Sims) are the people they control!!! Yep!

What’s wrong with Stanford :(

Not an Ivy League.

@Woeishe

Nothing…Nothing…If you like mediocrity…

There’s a reason why it’s called STANFORD you know…
Cause it’s a STANDARD college, nothing unique.

Which is why Stanford’s acceptance rate is 8%, just 1% higher than Harvard no big deal.
