Hello, I am currently a senior is year in high school, which means that I am currently applying for colleges so I can start in the fall of 2015. I am only applying to 2 colleges, Old Dominion University (VA) and The University of Virginia (VA). UVA is my top choice and ODU is my safety school (my mother teachers there so I know I will be accepted). If accepted to UVA I would majoring in Media Studies with a minor in business. I am kind of unsure of what my chance are for getting into UVA. Although my guidance counselor thinks I am able, I came here for a second opinion.

GPA: As of right now I have a 4.245 but I am unsure if that is weighted or not. Also that is not including any of my classes that I am taking at the moment.
Senior Classes: DE College Composition, DE Literary Analysis, DE Cell Biology, AP Calculus AB, Physics, Bible 12, Government, Honors Spanish 3.
Junior Classes: AP US History, Pre-DE English 11, Pre-Calc, Bible 11, Spanish 2, Honors Anartomy, Honors Chemistry
AP Scores: AP US History(4), Currently not planning on taking the AP Calc
Extra Curricular: NHS (Chaplain), After school tutor, Varsity Soccer, Participated in National Piano Guild for 9 consecutive years and received an outstanding performance all 9 years, 2 years of high school band, 1 year of high school choir.
Job Experience: Employed at Cinemark since August 2013
Volunteer Work: Volunteer at local animal shelter, volunteer at local hospital, volunteer at local church, various volunteer jobs done through school.
Race and Gender: White and Pacific Islander, Female.
Class Size: 44 (I got to a private christian school if that explains anything)
ACT Score: 26
SAT Score: 3 part = 1610

I realize that my scores are kind of low, but I'm hoping that my participation in DE classes will make up for that???
Please let me know what you think my chances are of being accepted to UVA. I am doing the Early Action application which is due November 1, and I already have almost all of it done. I have 2 teacher recommendations and a letter of recommendation from a well known author in the environmental science community.
