<p>As soon as a college gets something with your name on it, they make a file. It doesn’t matter what comes first as long as everything gets there by the deadline.</p>
<p>It’s actually normal and polite to let the teachers start as far ahead as possible so they aren’t rushed with their recs.</p>
<p>Just an aside for the hunorous effect: I recall someone reporting some years ago having submitted transcript, rec letters and test scores before applying to a not in the top 100 college and received a letter granting admission before ever sending the application.</p>
<p>It happens often…no big deal.</p>
