okay...
i want to use online application for pomona.
but if i do, how would i send teacher recs?
should i mail teacher recs and counselor rec separately by mail?

also, what do i need to do for teacher recs?
what do i have to give them?
do i just print out the teacher rec form from pomona's website and give it to my teachers?
by the way i saw the teacher rec form from pomona website and the part where teachers write comments seems too short.

please give me some advice
thanks.

edit:
*do i just print out the teacher rec form from pomona's application from the website and give it to my teachers?

just print them out and give your teachers a stamped and addressed envelope so that they can mail them when they get done. also, a lot of teachers will just type out your rec and then attach it, so they wont have to write multiples throughout the year. don't limit your teacher spacewise! the rec is extremely important -- make sure you give it to teachers who like you and know you well!

you know in the pomona rec form theres a part that says:

"Is there a broader context in which we should consider the candidateʼs performance and involvements?
Some examples include particularities of family situation or responsibilities, after-school work obligations,
sibling childcare or other circumstances, either positive or negative. Please explain on a separate sheet of paper."

do most students tell teachers to fill this part out too on a separate piece of paper?

and also, what should i write down on my resume when i give it to my teachers?

should i write objective or subjective stuff on the resume?

Your resume should list any honors you have received--academic and non-academic, extracurricular activities (both school-based and outside school), jobs you may have held, and any other interesting information that would help your GC write an accurate description about you. If there are extenuating circumstances in your life about which your GC does not know, then by all means tell him/her about them.

Good luck!

you should tell your teachers what you're involved in, but the main point of the recommendation is to talk about you as a student, not to regurgitate your resume. usually the extenuating circumstances don't apply unless you've had a death in the family or something like that.
