Hi guys, I have an idea of colleges I would like to go to but I can't seem to decide on a few of them. I mainly want to go to USC but i'm a new york student and I heard financial aid forOOS is not that good. I was also thinking about Georgetown, UCLA, Syracuse, Cornell, and Harvard? My mom and I rely on government assistance to live so any ideas on which colleges offer good need based aid??

USC is not a state school, so wherever you got that information is probably not a good source. What are your grades, test scores, extracurriculars, etc.???

Here is a list of schools with good financial aid.

Yeah we need all your stats to chance.

Okay here are my stats so far:
GPA: 4.0 (my school doesn’t use weighted scale)
Class Rank: 1/450 (small public school in nyc)
I haven’t taken the SAT’s yet but i took the PSAT and got a “163”
ExtraCurriculars: University of Maryland Young Scholars Program (summer program), Minds Matter (3 years), Youth Bridge NY (2 years), Sadie Nash Leadership Project (2 year program), Did a paid internship for American Diabetes Association (8 months long- matched by my Sadie Nash program), currently doing an unpaid internship with DoSomething.org, Just started College Now (taking Criminology classes for college credit). I also play guitar on the side. Anyone have any reccomendations on how i can improve my chances to USC? I’m also in the National Honor Society and took AP Euro, AP Chemistry, AP lit.
