Im entering my second year at FSU. Im currently a business major, and Im not sure if I should stay in this area or try something else. Im really interested in the medical field, and pursuing a career in that area. I didn't choose this area of study because I'm not good in the sciences and I am particularly bad at math, in specific, calculus. I took business calc last year and I struggled to finish with an 84, a B average. I know I wouldnt make it far in that field, especially with the competitiveness. Following the same logic, I eliminated engineering from the equation. With the exception of law, everything else is either too uninteresting for me to major in, or not promising enough in terms of jobs. I was wondering if I should try a combination of business and law? what would that entail?
On the other hand, in business itself, I was leaning towards finance but I'm planning on grad school and I've heard that most grad schools for business want undergrads who werent in business. I've heard a lot of good things about economics as an undergrad major and that being a viable undergrad major for the business schools. Also, if I were to major in economics, would I be able to have the same kinds of jobs in the future as if I had been a finance major or business admin major? One problem I have with the econ major- as appealing as it seems- is that Ive heard its math intensive. I can handle basic calculus more or less, and stats but will I be getting into pretty intense math which is comparable to a medical student or engineering student? I already know economic theory gets pretty hard and adding multivarible calc to the mix wouldnt be fun for me haha.
Also, what would be a good minor, for me if I majored in finance or economics, or is a major even necessary?
Sorry for the length of this post and the amount of questions I asked, even though some may seem pretty trivial. I'd really appreciate all of your answers because I want to resolve this problem and finalize what I am going to study. I dont want to waste a year of tuition if I choose to change something.

I don’t think I can’t be much help, unfortunately. This is probably something that you would want to make an appointment with your advisor for your major, and just take the time to sit down and talk everything out with them and see what advice that they give.

What aspect of the medical field are you interested in? There’s so many different branches of the medical field that you would want to figure out which one you’d want. If you wanted to go into Nursing, there’s that open. If you think a pharmacist is the path for you, that’s something different. If you want to be a doctor and either diagnose sick people or operate on people (and that’s just 2 of the multitude of options out there for doctors!) there’s that.

If Business Law is something that interests you, what about doing pre-law and then going to law school? FSU’s Law school has a business law program: http://www.law.fsu.edu/law_economics/index.html

I don’t really know what to tell you, unfortunately. If you aren’t great at science though, going into a medical field is probably not the direction for you since it’s going to be a lot of science, and many medical careers would require a graduate degree which would likely require a particularly strong GPA in the sciences, especially any biology/health/nutrition classes.
