Recently I wrote my common application essay, for a grade, in english class. I got a 28/32. Not bad, but not good. I felt like I was too rushed to write it. Everyone else’s ideas just came to mind, but my mind was blank. I even turned that one in late. I still felt like it was rushed and it’s time for me to sit at my computer and apply at colleges. This scares the heck out of me, but what scares me the most is that I am so unprepared. So I’m asking for your help. Below is some information about me.
I want to major in music education.
I am president of drama club
president of choir
president of femineus vocals (all girl audition group)
I was part of the 50 Hispanic Pope Choir that, as you can tell by the name, sang for the pope
I was bullied when I was younger, attending catholic school, and never really was accepted and truly myself until I reached highschool and found my love for choir
I am extremley shy, until you get to know me. Sometimes my anxiety and shyness gets to me and I can’t even bring myself to ask a question in class or raise my hand.
My brother is addicted to drugs and was drinking and driving
my father was addicted to gambling
my mother has arthritis in almost every part of her body
i will be the first member of my family to graduate college
