Okay Having a "W" (Withdrawl) on your transcript never looks good. I am just curious how many is too many? Having 2-3 is no big deal I assume. But what do you think crosses the line in order to get accepted as a transfer student?

where are you applying cause at some schools they won't let you in based on one w alone.

oh ****. i didnt know.

mostly in uni's in texas. but i talked to advisor at a&m and she didnt say anything about that, so that should not be a problem.

il also apply to other unis in texas. maybe ur talking about ivy leagues

"where are you applying cause at some schools they won't let you in based on one w alone."

haha. so untrue. name one school

Ya thats ********, don't worry about a couple of W's unless your aiming for HYPS

Cool, thanks for help!

I have two w's on my transcript. I am applying to UCLA, USC and Cal Poly. Does this affect me in any way? How about taking 3 of my classes from National University?

i have 10 w's + but i have an excuse. hahaha

What if you have an W but later retake the course????

I'm thinking about doing that since I have 18 semester credits right nwo and with work and commuting I almost have no time to sleep/eat/study. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge if it matters if you take the class again the semester after.
