<p>In light of the New York Times front page article today, is anyone aware of hazing taking place at Wash U in fraternities or sororities?</p>

<p>Sigma Alpha Mu was most certainly the exception, not the rule. In every other case, fraternities and sororities are a great part of our campus life and we were all really disappointed by the actions of Sigma Alpha Mu. Please don’t let their behavior reflect on the rest of us.</p>
<p>The sororities don’t have houses, they are set up more like clubs. I wasn’t aware of any hazing when my daughter attended.</p>
