Has anyone heard that they have been admitted to HCSSiM for this summer 2010? We are getting worried-- son sent in IT almost three weeks ago, and nothing at all has been heard from them. He didn't apply anywere else as this was his way out front first choice, so now we are starting to panic. ANYONE HEARD FROM HCSSiM?????

Have you heard the results back yet?

HCSSiM doesn’t seem to be hot this yr…

Anyone heard back from HCSSiM yet?

TN Parent - My son is thinking of applying for this year. Did your son have any trouble completing the Interesting Test? If if it’s too hard, should my son NOT apply?

Have you received the recommendation form provided by HCSSiM? I don’t think they are expecting kids to complete the interesting test, there is a couple questions which can’t be fully proved in the space provided.

Hampshire is great this year–I have heard some of the people who are teaching, and they have all of the same people coming back to give lectures. They are just slow because they lost one of the people who screens candidates–e-mail Susan Goff.

They’re still considering my application–I guess I’m a “maybe”.

I know they say there aren’t prerequisites, but what would you imagine would be the bare minimum amount of math you should have taken? I think I did fairly well on the IT but I’m not very far along the mathematic cursus honorum…

He spent six hours on it, thought it was interesting, not too hard, just some long and tricky problems. But he likes stuff like that.

I think they sent admit letters out a week or so ago. If you did not get one, you might call. My son is SO HAPPY to be going!
