HDTV in Poly Canyon?

<p>I’m moving into Poly Canyon this Fall and can anyone confirm that there isn’t any HDTV in Poly Canyon? It says here that there isn’t any: <a href=“http://www.housing.calpoly.edu/documents/sugg_items_pcv.pdf[/url]”>http://www.housing.calpoly.edu/documents/sugg_items_pcv.pdf</a></p>

<p>But my friend keeps telling me that his friend said that they do have HDTV in PCV. I’m looking to buy a TV tuner card for my PC so I can watch television and it’s cheaper to get one that supports only old school analog, but if they have HDTV I’d rather get one that supports it.</p>

<p>I have no idea about cable system these days… I just think that picking up broadcast in PCV might be rather difficult. All of the TV transmitters in the area are UHF and PCV is down low and right up next to the hills. I think it is in something of an RF shadow as a result. Plus, there’s only 3 broadcast channels in the area.</p>

<p>Well, I bought an HDTV tuner which supports also analog so if they don’t have HD it’s no big deal to me.</p>

<p>I stayed in poly canyon over SOAR and brought a tv tuner for my computer. Unfortunately, there was no HDTV, only analog channels.</p>
