We're starting our trip in a few hours, so unless I can find an Internet cafe along the way, I'd just like to wish everybody well. Have really fun going away parties, a safe trip and a great Beast experience.

I'd also like to thank all of the parents, current cadets and new cadets for all of the information you've shared over the last months. These discussions have been fabulous for me as this non-military mom has been trying to learn more about the choice my daughter has made. As this next phase starts I look forward to hearing how all of you (parents and cadets alike) are doing.

I look forward to meeting those of you who are at various events on Sunday or in all of those lines on Monday. (And by the way, I never thought I'd want to meet somebody who I met on the Internet.) I'm the one with very short black hair (ok it has some white highlights), and a Chicago accent. Just whisper "cc" and we can introduce ourselves.

If anyone is going to be in town on Saturday, there are a few people who will be at Schade's (sp?) in Highland Falls at 6:00 pm for dinner. It's a place where we can arrange to have accounts for cadets and they deliver to WP.

Have a safe trip, guys, and I hope I'll meet up with ya'll! I'm the short girl with either black or completely transparent glasses, very tan, and has a rather strong Southern accent. :) I'll look for ya'll! (there's the dead giveaway--if you hear someone say ya'll, it's probably me)

Aww...thanks, MOT. Safe trip to all of you, and good luck to your sons and daughters. My D will be at R-day practice on Friday. If there's anything unusual that pops up, I'll post it.

Please remember us over the coming year and pop in to visit.
