<p>S went to health center for 1st time today -has strep and going back in a few days if not better to see if he has mono- he said that he is exhausted-several frat brothers have had it in the last month- has anyone had good/bad experiences at health center…had planned to go down this weekend but doubt I will if he isn’t feeling better.:(</p>
<p>DS had to go for sports physical and sickle cell blood test (NCAA requirement). Says everything went nice and easy. Then a large fee showed up on his bama account. Called them expecting a fight, but got the typical Alabama treatment. The girl looked it up, saw the doctor coded it wrong, and sweet as can be removed the charge with repeated apologies. We northerners are not used to this.</p>
<p>My son went for a sinus infection and it was very easy…even got the prescription at the pharmacy (which is not on our plan) and it was less than $20. all billed to his account so no need for him to worry about $$$</p>
<p>btw - the visit to the health center which is on our plan was $0</p>
