Hello!
My cumulative gpa is a 2.9 unweighted (yikes!) But my gpa for my senior year so far is a 3.8 unweighted. My super score sat is a 2050 (w:750 r:690 m:660).
I have a thyroid condition that went undiagnosed during my sophomore and half of my junior year. This disease made me fall asleep and ruined my ability to concentrate. I included this in all of my applications.
I was wondering with the health issue in mind (which is the reason my cumulative gpa is horrendous), if I could get into good schools.
I am looking at nursing programs and so far am applying to : Drexel, Villanova, Pitt, PSU, BC, and UPenn. (I know I have some reaches here I am not unrealistic!)
SO, what do you think my chances are?! Thanks! (:

All of those expect bc are matches.

please help!

As long as you wrote about it in a kick-a** essay, then I think you can do well. Good Luck

BC and UPenn are out of reach, I would say you have a 1% chance at UPenn, don’t waste time you can dedicate to making your other applications better on UPenn. The others you have a decent shot at.

Thanks for your response! Do you think that it being Upenns nursing program could make it easier?

Thank you!

No chance at upenn sorry
BC is a high reach
Villanova is a reach
Pitt and Drexel are good
Psu wants a 3.5 so idk how that works.
Maybe you could add Virginia tech or james Madison or some other schools for you.

I don’t think the nursing program will make a difference, to be honest. Sorry! I agree with the other poster, you should add JMU or VTech. What’s your state of residency? State schools can get pretty pricey if you’re not instate, especially PSU. However if cost is not an issue then I’d say you have a decent list.

I am from PA. I am really interested in going to school with a nursing program that is in a major city/near a city. Do you have any more suggestions? Thanks!
