Health science degree

Hello,

I am a freshman in college, and I am on the course to get a bachelors degree in health science. My question is, I know there are lots of things I can do with this degree. I don’t want to become a PA or a doctor, so what else can I do with this degree? Thank you!

Hi if you’re still wondering about what you can do with the degree here are some ideas: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, apply to a 24 month nursing program after your second year or do the bachelor of health science and apply to a 15-18 month accelerated BSN program. Look up programs you’re interested in and see what their requirements are before getting too far along.

If you don’t want to work as a clinician or provider at all, you could also think about the business of health. There are many things that intersect with health: health insurance companies, hospital administration, nonprofit organizations with health-related missions, government agencies, state and local health departments, pharmaceutical and biomedical research companies, and health tech companies.
