Can somebody comment which university top students may select for major in Undergraduate health science based on academic ranking and chances in getting into medical schools for following universities
1) McGill University
2) University of Toronto
3) McMaster University

All other factors like scholarship, cost of living etc remaining same.

if you go to any of these schools and post med-school worthy numbers, you will have a great chance of getting into medical school. pre-med schedules at all three of these would be very difficult, as would getting into these medical schools. go to whichever you feel most compfrtable and where you think you can succeed. remember, in the eyes of med schools, a 3.7 at a **** school is worth more than a 3.4 at a top school. wherever you go just be prepared to work hard cause you will have to do amazing at either of these three.

Visit the campuses and explore the individual programs you would pursue. These are arguably the best three medical schools in Canada, and as such have some of the best pre-med programs, albeit most difficult as well.

Having been to Hamilton, I don’t see how anyone would want to live there for four years. That being said, I agree with klmnop, visit the schools if you can, and the surroundings. Assuming all programs are equal, I’d pick Montreal over Toronto or Hamilton, but that’s just me. Academically, I’m pretty sure they are equivalent, but the atmosphere might be completely different, and that in the end may be the deciding factor.
