I was wondering how competitive and how hard will it be to get housing on this floor. Im not big into alcohol or drugs (but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to part :)), and I want to live somewhere where i wont have those kind of distractions.

If I decide to go to Boston College, I am thinking about this as well.

Well, rest assured that if you don't live on one of these Healthy Alternative floors, there will be at least one other freshman living on a regular floor who doesn't drink or do drugs (gasp!) haha :) I'm a little bit worried about the party scene myself... But hey, if ya need a friend, stop by the Medeiros honors house and look for a curly-haired girl hahah
Good luck to you, I hope you pick BC!

If you're interested in special interest housing, you will apply over the summer and almost definitely get it. BC wants to meet students needs and would be committed to providing students with a floor(s) for healthy alternatives.
