Can anyone tell me about this specialty housing? Are there any special activities that the residents are required to do/attend? Are the residents considered social outcasts just because they don’t like to spend all their time getting high and drunk? Are the dorms any better/worse than the regular dorms? Any personal experiences? I am considering living on these floors this fall so any comment would be appreciated.

I am going to be a sophmore at BC, and i was placed on one of the healthy living floors by chance because they don't fill up. the only positive I can think of is that you don't get a forced tripple if you live on one. Other than that, i would stay away from that floor. The girls don't get outcast because they don't enjoy getting drunk but they outcast themselves. my roomates and I and the rooms across and next to us did not choose it, and were therefore looked down upon by the rest of the girls. You only get one strike for an offense instead of 3, and then you lose housing. It is loud when you want to study and sleep because since the girls don't go out, they are in the halls. i would recommend not chosing this housing. I know plenty of people who live on regular floors who don't drink and are perfectly happy. Good luck with your decision!! Go eagles!
