Hear Back RD

I don't understand why I am an international student but I have not received any email from the college. Is it because I am living in the US right now?

This was posted this morning. We will know by this time next week for sure.

That's right...all decisions have been made for the Class of 2013. We're in process of printing and signing all of the decision letters (all of our offers of admission are personally signed by our Dean). We will be compiling packages over the next few days in preparation for a mass mailing. All decisions go out on the same day, and we promise all applicants that they'll have decisions in hand before April 1st. (I'll file a blog entry when the date is upon us and set in stone.)

where did you see that?

Props to Kenyon for making decisions quickly! Let's just hope they are in our favor. Good luck!

The blog with doonvarn's quote is here: Kenyon Admissions

Thanks Mol!

"The simple fact of the matter is that we had nearly 4,000 applicants for an estimated class size of 450 students."

Oyyyy. Did this make anyone else feel way more nervous? I'm curious as to what Kenyon's usual yield is now, as that determines how many 'yes' letters went out.

DD2 received her acceptance today via snail mail (we live in OH). RD

I am eager to hear from Kenyon. I have received little communication from them since applying. I am looking forward to the personalized acceptance letters, including the paragraph unique to the applicant. That and the hand-signed letter give Kenyon a holistic touch.
Thanks for posting that blog- I hadn't seen it before. It sounds like they really put time into fairly reviewing every single applicant.
