Hearing back from JMU

I was wondering how does JMU notify their applicants of getting in?

Can you check on their website to see or do they email you

or do they send you something in the mail

i'm pretty sure it's just regular mail, sent out by april 1st like most places.

I remember last year that you couldn't find out if you were admitted online and you had to wait until it came in the mail.

nothing via email, called and asked. only via mail early april. good luck!

I know people who have heard back from them and they applied RD.

they've already heard back?! that's crazy! do you live in VA? that might have something to do with it.. do you know if they go in any particular order? because i applied shortly after the ED deadline, maybe i'll hear sooner? who knows..

Yes I live in VA.

I wanna hear back if they have??!?!

wow, that's interesting...i also live in VA, and so do all my friends who applied, and none of us have heard. weird, sunshinee.

anyway, i hope we hear soon.

Do they send out all the letters at the same time? My friend got his acceptance letter almost 2 weeks ago.

There is a message on the admissions phone line that states that they will be mailing letters around the 1st of April. I've heard of people saying they've received letters or emails from other schools and then when I call the schools they assure me that it is not true or a mistake in the system. So I wouldn't count on anything until the 1st of April. In the regular mail, not email or online.

geeez why they taking this long, ther not that special.

Yeah, the wait is enough to kill someone. I finally understand why seniors go crazy!
