Don’t know much about those colleges, but your stats are pretty low, especially without any AP courses. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best

The only schools you have that I really know anything about is UMass and Quinnipiac and in both cases you probably don’t have that great of a shot. Your gpa is low and so are your sat scores and you took the sat 6 times.

I have investigated all these schools. Saint Anselm is very competitive in nursing. You won’t make the program , they are looking for at least 1800. Mass College of Pharmacy…maybe. If you want nursing you should see if you can apply to Elms College or URI. You are match. UMASS nursing is tough. I know a girl who was denied with an 1880 two years ago and a higher GPA. She is now at URI. Some good community colleges have LPN programs. Good way to start and then transfer if you plan A does not pan out.

Chances are not the best, but don’t be pessimistic Apply and hope for the best. While GPA is low, you’ve shown improvement and have good recs. The fact that you are a first generation student will also help. If it doesn’t work out, you can always apply for community college and transfer. It works for plenty of people. Best of luck! :)

I’m really unfamiliar with all of those schools, but because you have an interest in nursing I decided to post. I have a friend that is in nursing in Ga, if you are willing to relocate to Atlanta maybe you could find a school there. I know Grady hospital is one of the best hospitals to work for in the south because of their ER (and I think their cancer and cardiology programs are great as well, but don’t quote me). I can find out what school they went to and maybe you can check them out.

You should really look into Elms then. I am not sure of the deadlines. I know a girl who got into the nursing program with a lower sat. She seems happy and still in the nursing program

You are certainly in the running. I wouldn’t expect much from Quinnipiac. They are not renknowned for their nursing anyway so i wouldn’t fret. Elms, I think you are in. Wonderful school btw. St. Anslem will be really tough but they have a tendency to accept lower grades for a passion for the field. Please Chance back

You’re at a disadvantage when it comes to grades/Scores so you really have to focus in essays and ECs on your passions and interests. If you did that, then you stand a chance.

Have you looked at or considered Colby Sawyer? Small school, lovely area and people. Has a wonderful nursing program and it is does a lot with Dartmouth. We looked at it and think its a small gem that is often ver looked.
