Heavy earring lobe supports

Has anyone tried them and do they work? I can only wear super light weight earrings and thankfully there are alot of beautiful ones out there. However, I just purchased a pair from a family member trying to open a little business. They are just gorgeous! I want to wear them, and read about these Stick on things you place behind your earlobe and push the metal through your ear hole, them the sticky thing. It’s supposed to support the majority of the weight. The earrings have the loopy wire.

I’ve used the Levears brand and find they work very well. I’ve bought the stainless steel 4 pack version and have had no issues. I have only used them with post earrings though, not sure how well they would work with the loopy wire type.

However, what also has made a huge difference for me is to get my ear piercings repaired. I needed the extra support because my piercings had stretched. For $500 I was able to have a plastic surgeon repair each earlobe and then after they healed for 3 months he re-pierced my ears.

So if your piercings are stretched something like Levears will definitely help but a surgical repair is also something to consider.

Thanks. I’m not quite there yet, but it’s good to know the experience!

I actually had a small amount of dermal filler (like Juvederm or Restalyn) injected into my earlobes so that they would be sturdier and support heavier earrings. It worked great! Perked my earlobes right up!

I have read that Lobe Wonder works well.

I went to a plastic surgeron for a surgical repair and then re-piercing when when my ears healed. It was really easy; the procedure took an hour and I felt nothing. The results were great. I still try to avoid heavy earrings and usually wear small studs (6mm-8mm).

I’ve used a Lobe Wonder every day for probably 15 years. They are great!
All my earrings have either an omega clip, a wire or are hoops. Lobe wonder works for all of them. I can keep the same one behind my ear for 2-3 days before it starts slipping.

I talked to a couple doctors about repairing my stretched piercing. They said I wouldn’t be able to re-pierce in the same place so I haven’t done it. I won’t be happy if it’s not right in the center so I have kept using Lobe Wonder.

I have pretty sensitive skin and the Lobe Wonder adhesive has never caused a problem. Needed a bandaid for a couple weeks recently and my skin became red and itchy. Thank goodness that has never happened on my ears.

Those are the ones I see on Amazon. For $10 I’m giving them a try! Thanks.

That’s really interesting! How long did it last?

I have used the sticky backs (i think Lobe Wonder) recommended on the Miracle Products thread and they work well. They also stay stuck for several days.

Lasted about a year, maybe closer to two - it’s a gradual reabsorption by the body. There aren’t any muscles in the ear lobes so there isn’t a lot of movement to displace the filler, etc. They may have new, thicker fillers now that last even longer. I felt the ear lobes were a baby step with minimal risk. The rest of the vial of filler can be put anywhere you’d like: back of hands, cheeks, temples. Since you’re only using one vial max, there won’t be any dramatic changes to where you place it. I didn’t want to look inflated, so one vial total was great. You can google before and after pics online for ear lobe filler results.
