Heavy on essays?

How hard do UCs look on essays…they have a lot of apps so they cant spend that much time on them right? Im actually hoping they will read them well. My essays are a little more informational than the flowery/emotional appeal stuff, although my 600 is a little mixed…still more informational though. Just wondering how they look at essays. I hear they (except cal and ucla) train readers to just look for certain points/facts u mention in ur essay and awrad points to them. opinons?

I have no idea.. i would hope they'd read all of them but i really doubt they have the time. My essays are really off-beat and creative so I would hope mine would get AT LEAST a thorough skimming :)

I have three days to write all three essays.
I'm hoping they don't read mine -- I think my essays will suck...BIG TIME! =(

Maybe they won't read OOS applicants' essays...yeah right lol.

hahaaah nice eddieee. well, some ppl write better under pressure, u never know. but anyway..does anyone know about how much the essay does (refer to my first post above).

Depends on the UC.

I heard Riverside only reads essays to break a tie between two students.

what's OOS?

out of state

eddie: dont worry my friend hasnt even started any of his essays and they are due to 31 hours. Did i mention he still has to do his cal state apps. as well as the uc apps by tommorow? and stanford apps due in a week? he is screwed.

Lmao X 200

what does "lmao" mean?

lmao = laugh my ass off

Lol..........................
