What are my chances at : Penn State University Park, SUNY Binghamton, Carneige Mellon, University of Miami, UNC, Darthmouth, Cornell, Northwestern, SUNY Buffalo, Syracuse.

I really like Penn State, but no harm in trying Ivies, aswell.

I’m Nigerian too haha. I don’t really see any chance for you at Cornell, Dartmouth, UNC or Northwestern with that SAT score. Maybe if you can raise it to 2100 you have a shot.

Your extra-curriculars look very solid though, and a 3.6 GPA is good enough for Ivy considering your URM status.

Basically just get that SAT up in October lol. Consider ED for your first choice.

On another note: What culture are you from in Nigeria? Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, other? I’m Igbo, just curious lol. I live in Canada.

If you got your SAT up to an 1850, I’d say you’re in at Penn, Binghamton, UNC, and even UofM. A 1950 would make Cornell a match for you. And a 2000+ would have you in at at Cargie Mellon and Cornell. Dartmouth will probably continue to be a reach until you achieve a 2100+.

Best of luck!

Thanks everyone.

@Nosike: I’m, Igbo. What are you?

@Arthua, same lol.
