<p>Why is this thread frequented so much? Getting an internship with a hedge fund is relatively easy and certainly much easier than getting into a structured summer analyst program at an investment bank. All you have to do is cold-call a small-time fund and ask to see if they'll take you on -- not exactly difficult.</p>

Any ideas/recommendations for me?</p>

<p>This thread is four (4) years old! It’s quite possible that some of those hedge funds have since dried up and/or collapsed. Remember, four years ago was back when Bear Sterns and Lehman were around and Madoff was looking good. It was a completely different environment than it is today. What hasn’t changed is the hard work in finding something.</p>
