<p>Ok guys, here is the case,
I am a CCC transfer student and my GPA is 3.1 (which is not very high). I applied last november to 4 UC's and I got into UCR as a physics major for fall 2009, which is not my intended major. </p>
<p>I was talking to a friend of mine and heard about the TAG program and I found that I am qualified for that program to gruantee admission to UCSD, but for winter 2010. </p>
<p>They are both far away form my home, but I mean UCSD is very competitive, and I will have to wait another quarter (which is not a big deal). I would have to cancel my admission to UCR, too ..... on the other hand, UCR is not very competitive where I have a chance to raise my GPA, but at the same time is not as prestigious as UCSD. Another thing to mention is that UCR did not admit me as a chem major as UCSD would through the TAG program. </p>
<p>I called UCSD more than once and they told me that if I have 3.0, IGETCE, and 60 units done by summer, which I have all, I am gruanteed admission even though if they have a thousand applicants. Is there any chance that they do not admit me ? and What do you think I should do ? I am really confused.</p>
