Do Canadian unis require SAT and SAT IIs ?? Is the process same as that of US ?? keen on UofToronto and McGill.
Please help. Thanks in advance. :))

Check their websites and contact their admissions office.

Although I think they don’t require us to, we sent my son’s score to both, as they may need some way to gauge with the different indian boards. He’s been accepted into McGill. App is in committee review at U o T. I would suggest you send the scores, if you have taken the tests.

@SuperrMom Can I apply after giving my XII boards ?

Fall applications should have been done by December last year. You should have started applying to US/Canadian univs by sept/oct last year for early action and latest by dec for regular/rolling admission. You can try for spring 2015 if you apply now. I’m not sure, just check the college websites. If you have taken the SAT and are not happy with the scores, I suggest you take it again. TOEFL is a must. Hope this info helps :-)

I forgot to add that they ask for mid year 12th marks and ask you to later send the boards marks, once the results are out.

What about 9th 10th and 11th @SuperrMom

Yes, you will have to send the marks cards of all the years they ask. Check the application requirements on the college websites. They are very clear and tell you exactly what they need. Infact we found the Canadian colleges more responsive and prompt than US colleges

@SuperrMom Can you please paste the links. I searched for it but couldn’t find anything. That’d be great. please
