Hehe, another "which score would you rather have?"

So, take your pick. And yea, they are all good scores, but you get to pick the best from the best. :D

Choice 1: 750CR 800M 800W

Choice 2: 800CR 750M 800W

So I think it's already established that math and critical reading have more weight put on them than writing. But what about when it comes to the comparison between the two older sections?

choice 1 M800 CR 750
math in SAT I is much easier than reading

I think you mean much harder, sunny767. XD

Anyways, I am going for choice 1, too. 750 was actually my target SAT I Math score (I got a 700 >.<).

I am asian, so the 800 on CR would look more impressive, theoretically speaking.

Choice 2. Then I'd retake the test, ace the math section and get a superscore.

choice 2,

an 800 in CR is alot rarer

Choice 2, of course.

Choice 1. I'm going into engineering, so the math score is more important for me.

i'd have to go with choice 1 cause i'm international and they'd understand my difficulties in high-level English reading...

paradoxically, i have a 790cr 780math :) and no, i'm not one of those Literature guys

<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/PercentileRanksMathematics.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/PercentileRanksMathematics.pdf</a></p>

Choice 2, just because math hasn't been as much as a hassle as CR has, so a 800 in that section would mean a whole lot more.

Choice 2. If this were my final score, CR is more difficult to achieve an 800 in and it goes with my ECs/passions.

If I could retake this I would take Choice 1 and then retake for an 800 CR. That would be easier for me than an 800 Math.
