<p>I am a junior and next year, will be college bound. However, I have this insecurity which is adding to my nervousness about going to college. That insecurity is my height. I am 17 years old and am 5 feet and 4 inches. I am scared I will not have any friends or meet any girls due to my height. I look like I am 13. Anyone have the same problem?</p>
<p>Wear vertically striped clothes and platform shoes to make yourself look taller. You shouldn't have any problem meeting chicks that are shorter than you, I know of many hot chicks who are around 5'2 or 5'3".</p>

<p>I love short people. No one should be any taller than 5'5" (5'6" TOPS).
It's not height that makes people look young so much as their facial features, clothes, and the way they act and hold themselves. Facial features you can do nothing about, but if you try to dress and act older, then you'll maybe add a year or two to the age people think you are. And facial features will age in a couple of years anyway, so you shouldn't worry about it.</p>
<p>I'll be honest. It's difficult to find a girlfriend if she is taller than you. But don't worry. Girls are hotter when they are shorter. I personally like them around 5'2 - 5'4. No talller than that.</p>
<p>i dated a guy who was 5'3, and he hasn't had a problem finding girls or friends. in fact he's a bit too popular with girls and enjoys every moment of it, which is why we broke up.</p>
<p>I am a 18.5 girl, 5 feet, and I've been told I look 12. I know of several other (Asian) girls in the same position, you may want to look into one of those.</p>
<p>I'm 4'11.5" and I have been told I look like I'm a.) a grad student, or b.) twenty. In fact, I got hit on by a guy who was around forty who nearly died when I told him I was probably his (hypothetical) daughter's age. </p>

<p>seriously, size does not matter nearly as much as guys think it does. it's all the manifestations of the male ego. i'd rather date a guy who's 5'4 than date a tall guy and have to tiptoe and make him stoop down to communicate. of course that pretty much applies to a lot of people since i'm only 5'4. <em>cry</em> before i die i will see the aurora borealis, live one year secluded in a buddhist temple, and BY GOD I WILL FIND A PAIR OF PANTS THAT FIT ME WITHOUT HEMMING THE LEGS. </p>

<p>lol. aww its ok deus......Its kinda hard for me to find clothes that fit because although im kinda tall, (5'11") I am VERY skinny. (118) So many clothes are too small but perfect in everything else, or the perfect size, but too wide/baggy....and i dont do gangsta style...</p>

<p>Height doesn't matter that much. Tom Cruise is around 5'8" and he doesn't have trouble with the ladies. But tall guys do have it a little easier. In my physiology class there's one guy who's around 6'4", and all the girls, who average about 5'3", adore him. But he's also big in basketball and good looking...and funny. Bastard.</p>
