On fordhams website, along with the common app, it says you must do the following:

Supporting Documents:
All applicants must submit the following documents by the application deadline to be considered for admission.

High School Transcript
Letter of Recommendation
Standardized Test Scores (SAT or ACT)
Essay

....ok so is the essay the common app essay or is their another essay to write....bc if there is where is it?

Correct a mundo. and I think the common app supplement has the specific essay that fordham wants you to write.

Good luck!

btw, my D is really DIGGING her sophomore classes this year! But a TON of reading and homework!

The supplement does not have an essay for you to complete, just general information about what school you want to apply to (Fordham College, CBA, Lincoln Center), housing, if any parents/relatives are alumni, and potential major, things like that.

If you do the common app on line, which I highly recommended because it will be processed the next day, make sure you submit the supplement as well or else your application will not be able to be downloaded. There are even kids who think they hit "submit" and call the school in February wondering why they never got a confirmation letter.

Also, on the common app, you will submit your short essay, long essay and there is an area for you to upload additional information. Here, you can attach a word document such as your resume or any other information you want to submit.

Also, don't forget Fordham should be sending out the Your Choice application which is free to those who receive it.

Good luck.

yeaaa i was actually surprised fordham did not have an essay in its supplement
