Personal Statement (For the UC's):
1) I wrote about how I come from a family who put little emphasis on education and how my parents were the first people who actually tried to study, but could not do so in light of the Vietnam War. I told of the struggles that were put on to me while trying all so desperately to pass AP Classes, the SAT, and the subject tests: I had no back support. With little income and no father to support, I concluded with a strong emphasis on the will and desire to overcome these obstacles.
2) I wrote about how my personal will and motivation to win, brought the JV team of my school to a near perfect win streak. I was the most talented and most influential in terms of skill and decisions, respectively. I don't believe in the word "Captain." its thrown around too easily. I want to become a legend, but you can't win alone. You need your team and thus so, I wrote about how I dedicated myself to share the skills and knowledge of my craft.

In the Summer, I plan to take:
Intro to Computer Science
Intro to Java Programming
Art History

and possibly a paid internship at a bank. Sorry for the excruciatingly long post. Thanks so much in advance!
